About RDI® Southeast Asia Academy
A space for families and professionals to reconnect, one relationship at a time.
RDI® Southeast Asia Academy grew out of Children's Partnership, an organization Genevieve Chua founded over 30 years ago to walk alongside families and children navigating developmental challenges.
In 2005, Genevieve discovered Relationship Development Intervention®, and it changed everything. What began as one more approach in her toolkit became the thing she couldn't stop thinking about: a way of working with families that felt less like fixing a problem, and more like rebuilding connection.
Over the years, she trained and mentored RDI® consultants across Asia, and kept noticing the same gap: professionals and parents in the region wanting this training, but with nowhere close to home to get it.
Having now seen the outcomes over 20 years, young adults who have grown to be more independent, flexible, and dynamic in their thinking, Genevieve wants the same for as many children as possible. Her hope is that RDI® can reach even more families and professionals across the region.
RDI® Southeast Asia Academy was built to close that gap: a space where families and professionals across the region can access real, relationship based developmental support, without needing to travel overseas or navigate it alone.
It's still personal to her. Every course, every training, every resource here comes from the same place it always has: a belief that connection is the foundation everything else is built on.
Genevieve Chua is an educational psychologist with over 30 years of experience supporting children and families. She has trained and mentored RDI® consultants across Asia, and continues to lead training and consultation work through Children's Partnership and RDI® Southeast Asia Academy.
